New: Philippe Buil opens the doors of his home workshop to you every month
Published by Philippe BUIL on
This is a question that often comes up during exhibitions or on social networks: "Is it possible to see the place where you create?"
Until now, visits to my workshop were by appointment. To offer more freedom and friendliness, I am pleased to announce the opening of a new regular meeting.
From now on, every second weekend of the month, the house-workshop in Lantriac opens its doors to you, without an appointment.
Between fire and lace: an immersion in creation
Entering my workshop means discovering the backstage of my metal sculptures.
It is here, among the tools, that steel and bronze merge to become airy works.
During these weekends, you will be able to:
-
Discover the sculpture workshop:
The raw workplace where the unique textures of the works are born.
-
Browse the exhibition:
The finished pieces are displayed in my living space,
allowing a better projection of the sculptures in an interior.
-
Exchange:
I will be present to share my passion and explain my fusion technique.
The first dates to note
I am launching this meeting starting in February. Here are the upcoming dates to come and meet me:
-
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 February
-
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March
-
Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April
Special note: For the launch on 14 and 15 February, the opening coincides with Valentine’s weekend. An ideal occasion for an inspiring cultural outing or to find an exceptional gift, full of history and substance.
