Technique
My artistic line relies on solids and voids, and on creating lace to bring my sculptures to life.
I have developed a technique that allows me to create metal lace
To create this lace: I start by sculpting my form to make the sand mold for casting, then I melt bronze or steel drop by drop to create the lace. Depending on what I want to achieve, I space the drops more or less, which creates denser parts and others more openwork. A long finishing step begins: brushing and varnishing.
This technique guarantees that each sculpture is a unique piece. I sign each sculpture, and I provide a certificate of authenticity.
