Parvati Ultime: An Offering of Light and Gratitude to the Sky
With "Parvati Ultime," I sought to embody the spiritual impulse and the purity of the offering. This sculpture depicts a figure with arms raised toward the sky, in a universal gesture of gratitude, a silent "thank you" addressed to the Gods. It is a work that celebrates the connection between earth and the divine, where the body seems to dematerialize to become only prayer and light through a finely crafted metal lace.
The fusion work here combines steel, bronze, and brass, creating an alchemy of metals that brings a sacred dimension to the piece. The golden reflections of the brass and the warm tones of the bronze highlight the precious nature of this sculpted offering. The dripping technique gives the silhouette an ethereal, almost mystical appearance, as if the material itself is rising toward Olympus. This piece from the Intimate collection is an invitation to serenity, a totem of recognition that radiates a benevolent energy in your interior.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
What does the posture of "Parvati Ultime" symbolize? The posture, with arms stretched upward, symbolizes spiritual elevation and offering. It represents gratitude toward the world or deities, capturing the precise moment of a solemn and peaceful thank you.
Which metals make up this spiritual sculpture? This work is a complex fusion of three metals: steel for the structure, bronze for depth, and brass for its golden highlights. This blend of textures and colors enhances the ritualistic and precious aspect of the sculpture.
How is the metal lace created? It is made by drip fusion (dripping). Each drop of metal is manually placed without a mold, creating this openwork network that lets light pass through, symbolizing the flow of spirit through matter.
Is this a unique piece? Yes, absolutely. Each "Parvati" is an original signed piece. The manual fusion process ensures that the lace pattern and metal blend cannot be exactly reproduced.
How do you care for this multi-metal sculpture? The sculpture is protected by a high-quality professional varnish that preserves the reflections of the brass and bronze. A simple dusting with a soft brush is enough to maintain the purity of the lace and the shine of the work.
