With this metal stiletto heel shoe sculpture, I wanted to transform a symbol of femininity and fashion into a luminous sculptural work.

The sculpture Cinderella depicts a stiletto pump, an iconic form of feminine elegance. The everyday object here becomes an artistic, almost mythical subject, evoking fashion, fairy tales, and the collective imagination.

Metal lace and the shine of gold
The shoe’s structure is made of steel lace, created by melting the metal drop by drop using a dripping technique. This method creates an openwork metal network that gives the sculpture an almost textile lightness.
The sculpture is then covered with 24-carat gold leaf, which catches the light and transforms the object into a precious presence. The whole rests on a gold-plated steel base, enhancing the impression of a precious object placed like a jewel in the space.
