This sculpture is made of metal lace formed of drops of steel and bronze.
The natural heat colors, revealed by the flame, are enhanced with pigments, creating iridescent reflections that change with the light.
The balance between the raw strength of the metal and the fragility of the butterfly gives this work a poetic and airy presence.
