With this metal female bust sculpture, I wanted to reveal a warm and deep presence, inspired by the shades and memory of red amber.
A body crossed by inner warmth
In Pavarti Ambre Rouge, the female bust is built around a sensation of warmth and intensity. The form is not just anatomical: it seems inhabited from within, as if crossed by a slow and deep energy.
Red amber, a fossil resin with intense hues, is often associated with vital energy and ancient memory. This dimension is reflected in the sculpture: the body becomes a space of resonance, between material and sensation, between physical presence and inner depth.
Metal lace: a luminous and organic material
Made of steel and bronze using the metal lace technique, the sculpture plays with solids and voids to create a living material. The metal, worked drop by drop, forms an openwork structure that captures and diffuses light.
Steel provides the structure, almost like a stable framework, while bronze enriches the surface with a more organic warmth. This combination evokes the very nature of amber: a material born of time, both dense and luminous, capable of preserving and radiating energy. The sculpture thus seems to glow from within, like a contained ember.
