With this sculpture of a male body in metal lace and chrome, I wanted to capture a moment of gliding, an energy in motion, as if suspended in the material.
A body in balance, between tension and fluidity
In Pavarti Surfeur, the male body appears in an unstable but controlled dynamic. It does not present itself as a fixed form, but as a passage, a moment in the making. The posture suggests a fragile balance, a constant adaptation, as if the body is continuously seeking its point of support.
This sensation of gliding runs through the entire sculpture. The gaze does not stop; it circulates, following the lines. The body becomes a trajectory, almost a writing in motion. It does not impose itself; it transforms according to the angle, like a presence evolving in the time of the gaze.
Chrome: a light in motion
Made of metal lace by drop-by-drop fusion, the steel structure lets light pass through and establishes a continuous vibration in the material. This openwork framework is complemented by the chrome, which introduces a smooth, taut, almost liquid surface.
Where the lace diffuses the light, the chrome captures and reflects it. It does not simply contrast; it sets the gaze in motion. Depending on the angle, it changes, reflects, and visually glides over the form. This presence creates a subtle tension between structure and surface, between depth and immediacy.
The whole gives rise to a sculpture where light becomes active, where the body seems to be crossed by a fluid energy. It is no longer just a form to look at, but a movement to feel.

What does the Pavarti Surfeur sculpture represent?
This sculpture represents a male body in motion, inspired by the sensation of gliding and the search for balance. It evokes a suspended moment, between control and instability.
Why the surfer theme?
The surfer embodies a particular state where the body constantly adapts to a moving environment. It symbolizes a fluid relationship with space, made of subtle adjustments and dynamic balance.
