With this work, I wanted to pay tribute to Aquarius, the water bearer who, paradoxically, is an Air sign. This sculpture captures all the symbolism of flowing water: not stagnant water, but the kind that purifies, transmits, and irrigates thought. I materialized these two parallel waves as a continuous energy current, symbolizing the sharing of knowledge and altruism that characterize this visionary sign.
The combination of steel and bronze, worked in dripping (drop-by-drop fusion), gives these waves an almost liquid texture. The metal lace lets light pass through the curves, reminding us that the spirit of Aquarius is a filter that allows ideas to flow freely and with avant-garde spirit.
