Animals

Animals – Contemporary Metal Sculptures and Paintings

The Animals collection brings together sculptures and metal paintings devoted to living beings. Through the metal lace, worked in steel and bronze, I explore the animal’s instinctive strength while revealing its fragility and inner energy. Whether three-dimensional or wall-mounted, these works play with transparency and light to suggest movement and presence.

The animal is never treated as a mere decorative figure. It becomes a symbol, an essential form, sometimes tense, sometimes calm. The metal paintings extend this artistic exploration by offering a more graphic reading, where the openwork material interacts with the wall and surrounding space. Sculptures and paintings thus form a coherent, sensitive, and deeply modern whole.

The living expressed in volume and surface

In this collection, I question our relationship to the living through two complementary expressions: volume and surface. The animal sculptures occupy space, while the metal paintings invite a more intimate and contemplative reading. The metal lace allows the eye to flow, letting the void appear as a constitutive element of the work.

Each sculpture and each painting is a unique work, handmade in my workshop. These pieces find their place both in modern interiors and in exhibition spaces, where they engage with light, architecture, and the landscape.
